据了解，中国照明电器协会第七届理事会到今年11月已经届满五年，根据民政部、国资委以及中国照明电器协会章程的规定，需按期进行换届选举。在审议通过第七届中国照明电器协会工作报告、会费收支情况报告、协会章程、会员管理办法、会费收支管理办法及设立监事会的议案后，大会还审议通过第八届理事会理事候选名单和会员代表大会选举办法，并审议通过总监票人、监票人、总计票人、计票人。

随后，大会对中国照协会费标准、第八届理事单位、投票选举监事进行了投票选举。经投票选举，监事和会费调整议案都以超过半数票获得通过，并选出154名理事，组成了中国照明电器协会第八届理事会。

陈燕生当选为中国照明电器协会第八届理事会理事长，刘升平当选为中国照明电器协会第八届理事会执行理事长，佛山电器照明股份有限公司总经理刘醒明当选为中国照明电器协会第八届理事会副理事长，王卓当选为中国照明电器协会第八届理事会秘书长。
